Jamakhan - Stripe Handwoven Cushion

What it is?
Tiipoi JAMAKHAN Stripe cushion is inspired by Bhavani ‘Jamakkalams’, the colourful, graphic and often oversized floor-coverings used in homes and at weddings and public events in and around the region of Tamil Nadu in southern India. A contemporary take on this iconic textile was created in collaboration with textile designer Sagarika Sundaram and features a striking geometric patterns in pink, yellow, white and grey. Hand-woven out of high-grade Erode cotton, Tiipoi's Jamakhan cushion is hand-dyed to create a softer fade-proof finish.

How It's Made?
This collection is made from high-grade Erode cotton yarn and hand-dyed the old-fashioned way in the neighbouring town of Karur. The result is a long-lasting and soft product that is also fade-proof. Handwoven and hand-dyed cotton.

How to care for it?
Dry clean only.
