Mesmerising African Black Cleansing Potion

What it is?
This one is an OC team favourite – a surfactant-free, hypoallergenic cleanser it is gentle on your skin and doesn’t strip off natural oils. African Black Soap is made entirely by hand, by women in West Africa using recipes (which, of course, remain a secret!) that have been handed down for generations. This everyday cleanser is loaded with incredible antibacterial properties derived from phytochemicals and oils in plants. The Vitamin E in the emollients hydrates your skin while exfoliating it, whereas the African Black Soap minimises sun damage and hyperpigmentation caused by excessive exposure to UV rays. Something you should know - the Cocoa pod and other plant ash content is reduced in winters to suit all skin types. Hence, the colour of your Mesmerising African Black Cleansing Potion may vary slightly as per season – from black to dark brown to light brown, depending on the ash content.

How It's Made?
African Black Soap*; Essential Oils of Lavender, Orange, German Chamomile, Rosewood, Geranium; Gum Acacia, Spectrastat G2N**, Deionised Water. *Handcrafted Using Traditional African Methods, with Healing Herbs **COSMOS Approved.

This potion is a 100% natural, centuries old recipe by West African natives; using Palm oil, Shea Butter; Cocoa Pod and Plantian Skin ashes and local herbs; enriched with therapeutic essential oils of Lavender, Sweet Orange and German Chamomile.

The Process:
Apply 2-3 drops on your face while avoiding your eyes. Try and keep it on for about 1-2 minutes. Gently massage with little water and rinse off. If you have sensitive skin or skin exposed to chemical treatments, you may take a short while to get adjusted to this therapeutic cleanser.
